Shipping containers at point pleasent park and tyres at halifax harbour, 2007.Well, i've finally become sick. It's not that i'm happy about it, i am surprised it didn't happen earlier. It's just a head cold, luckily this week is 'Reading Week' so a full week off. Surprisingly Cold and Flu tablets are only $5 here!
This week is going to be really productive though. I have lots of work to do, essays and books and shooting.
Yesterday was really nice, it was 2 degrees! i went to the flea markets and then for nice long walk. I found some Kodachrome Double 8 movie film, dated from 1992, and some still kodachrome from the 1960's! Kodachrome is a type of film that isn't made much anymore. The way the film is constructed is based on layers rather than dyes in modern film. I really like the colours and tones of kodachrome film. I am interested to see what will happen when i shoot it. Today there was lots of snow and on the way home i made patterns along the footpath because i was the first to walk along there in the fresh snow. Wouter said i should trick people by walking backwards so that they think i am going in a different direction hehe.
